The CBT is the course you need take before you can ride a motorcycle or Scooter on the road.

What will I be trained on?

Element A: Introduction

Element B: Practical off-road training

What should I do to prepare?

Read the highway code and traffic signs.

Know main rules that apply to moped and motorcycle riders.

When, where, and how much is it?
We carry out CBT courses every Saturday and every Sunday.

Drive onto the industrial estate and follow the road around to the left, take a left turn after the tree line and go to the end. Rider Training is on the left.

What happens after the CBT?
After you’ve completed CBT, you can ride a:
-
moped if you’re 16 or over
-
motorcycle up to 125cc and with a power output of up to 11kW if you’re 17 or over
You must use L plates (L or D plates in Wales).
You must pass your full moped or motorcycle test within 2 years, or you have to either take CBT again or stop riding.

Simon is one of the UK's most qualified instructors as he is not only CBT and Direct Access qualified but he also has a RoSPA Diploma in Advanced Riding.
